About Maggie
If you’re a busy business owner who is tight on time and budget, then keep reading.
You likely know how important a Website is to your overall business. But not everyone can invest in a designer right away—which is TOTALLY okay! That is where working on a template can save you time and money!
Finding a template that connects with you and your ideal client is the first step, but then all you have to do is add in your information, images, and BAM! you have a new website ready to publish.
I don’t think that using a template is bad, in fact, if it works for you, DO IT!! There is always time to edit and add to your site later, and finding a template that fits your needs right now is great. And sometimes you need some extra hands to complete the site, and that’s where we come in;)
One of the reasons I chose Showit to edit websites on was because of their template shop and the ease of adding editors to the site.
While yes, other web hosts have these, I loved the creativity and flexibility Showit has in their templates. Any user of Showit can work on a free template, a blank canvas, or purchase a template from a designer and edit that.
The templates are great because they are easy to install, edit and publish. Something that I know business owners with a tight timeline can take advantage of.
I’ve had the pleasure of editing several Showit templates for clients. One of my favourite web projects was a template design from The Heart University, for Vintage Virtue Salon.
Deva had purchased the template and together we customized it for her full-service salon. Along with Deva, I’ve been able to work with five other business women in editing and fine-tuning their templates.
The beauty of editing a template is that the client already has something they love, they just need help tweaking it. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good custom site too, but being able to help bring a site to completion is something I also enjoy.
There are several places online where you can find great Showit templates. You can check out the Showit shop page, or visit these shops (and friends) that I love
I do take on the smaller projects of finishing up and editing templates. I’d be so happy to work with you and help bring your website to life. You can hop on my calendar and get your website published, together!
