Did you see this glow up???
One of the most surprising networking places for me has been Facebook Groups. I joined a Mom’s Facebook Group earlier this year and just started to engage on the page. Then I saw a mom boss inquiring to the page if there were graphic designers who could help with her logo refresh.
I replied to the inquiry, and Ashley and I hopped onto a quick call to go over what she was looking for with a rebrand on her current logo.
We chatted a little and she shared she was looking for a revamped logo that was larger than what she currently had but was still the same colours, and used similar baking tools, and kept the lotus flower.
She really wanted a little refresh to the original concept and a little more life to her logo.
I pull ideas from Pinterest, past designs that got rejected, and a few other sources online.
My clients get to choose from those elements as a foundation for their new brand to go.
Then create the pieces myself and add my own twist to them.
Ashley gave me creative freedom to play and create a new logo that not only encompassed her baking business, but also the heart behind her business.
I send her several options to look at and choose from for her redesign. Since we were keeping the same elements, we focused on brand colours and fonts to spice up her new logo.
We ended up with a similar-looking logo, yet different.
And I gotta say, I think this glow-up perfectly matches her warm, inviting, and delicious baking!
Here’s what she had to say about the overall experience
“Maggie Hoffman was so wonderful to work with!
She was prompt with communication, listened to the things that were important to me with my project, and produced a high-quality logo that I could afford working on a new business budget.
Thank you for making Ashley’s Tasty Bits stand out!”
