About Maggie
My nephew Oliver, inspired this passion project. He is a wild and adventurous little one. And I know his life will be full of new adventures.
Building out this brand, I decided to make something that would fit with an outdoor adventure company. Some business focuses on taking people on adventures they’ve always wanted to go on in the great outdoors.
I worked on the primary logo to include outdoorsy elements to help explain what they do and where they are working.
I wanted to use colours that were warm and inviting. While also symbolizing the colours in the area that Oliver’s Adventure could be based—thinking Colorado.
This brand board includes several variations of the logo that can be used across different marketing channels.
I love being able to work on different shapes and layouts for the various sizes of things. This I believe is something that businesses could need when they print their logo or place it somewhere. I picked this up from my many years of working in marketing and communications. So I strive to provide logo size variations.
By utilizing the “O” and the lack of corners I wanted to convey fun and playful energy—which I believe Oliver’s Adventures is all about.
The fonts needed to match the playful energy. Yet also the uniqueness of providing once-in-lifetime opportunities for people to explore the great outdoors.
While Oliver’s Adventures might not exist, I was really pleased with how the brand formed. I had a lot of fun thinking about how an outdoor adventure company could use elements in its surroundings to incorporate into its branding.
My hope is that a business that wants to serve others by providing thrilling, and wild adventures in the outdoors could see this brand and make it their own. I’d love to be able to create something for an adrenaline-seeking company.
I had so much fun creating this brand for my friend, even if it was only a passion project. I’d love to know what other industry I could try to create a brand for. Or if you are looking for a new brand, I’d be honoured to work with you! Hop into my inbox, or DM me on the ‘gram to chat!
