If you are a fan of Harry Potter, then you’ve likely caught onto the name of this passion project, as the names of Harry’s parents.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I love to pull inspiration from things around me, and this idea for a videographer came from Harry Potter.

Background on the Brand

I tried to build a little more of a backstory for this business to help me design a stunning brand for them.

• They are a husband and wife videography team
• Their film edits are a romantic style
• They are wedding videographers
• Willing to travel, but located in North Carolina
• Looking to capture the in love couple who wants timeless video editing of their special day

Choosing Brand Colors & Fonts

Since I built out more about Lily James Film, I decided to look into unique colours that complemented their style and would also speak to the wedding couple looking to book.

I chose colours that were timeless, like their editing, and not something that would be out of season.

I liked the delicate font mixed with a serif font to balance out the traditional script used in weddings.

Variations of the Logo

I wanted Lily James Film to have several variations that they could use for different marketing in their business. That is why I made two sub marks of their logo. One can be used as a social media icon, and the other can fit into smaller real estate like a business card.
