Hey hey, friend! I’m so glad you are here!
If you are new around here, my name is Maggie and I’m a twenty-six-year-old wife and business owner. I run Hoffman Creative Co. which creates show-stopping brands and websites for the creative boss babe!
I’m married to my husband Zach, and we have a mini-beagle Cora. We live in the PNW and love to hike, hang out playing board games, and worship together on stage at church.
I’m a 90-day fiance from Canada and moved to the USA in 2016 right out of university.
I have a degree in Public Relations and over six years of experience working in marketing and communications.
How Hoffman Creative Co. Began
I started my business in the middle of 2020—I know, a great time to start a business, right? Well actually it was! I saw all these businesses pivoting to online since in-person shopping wasn’t allowed. I knew that some businesses needed help in marketing and wouldn’t be able to hire an agency. So I started to plan out what a digital marketing business focused on helping small businesses could look like.
I started to help small businesses both here in Oregon and several in Canada—where I’m originally from. And Hoffman Creative Co. was born. Over this past year, I have pivoted to only offering graphic design, branding, and website design on a platform called Showit.
Some More About Me
As I mentioned, I’m from Canada. A lot of people usually find out when I say the word “process” (pronounced pro-cess, not “pra-cess” like my American friends like to say;). Or when my “o’s” become more of an “oooo’s”. I’m a maple-loving, tea-drinking, proud Canadian.
I’ve loved living in Oregon and traveling around to a few states over the years—we have a goal to hit all 50! So far, we’re at 11/50. I know, not many, but hey, just over 1/5 of the way there!
Earlier this year Zach and I did a crazy road trip. We hit seven states, six national parks in eight days. We lovingly call it our six, seven, eight trip. It was AMAZING! But also something we will never do again in that short amount of time.
I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d love it if you introduced yourself, or came and said hi on the ‘gram. I spend most of my days there.
